CHEAPSIDE CAFE

carefully considered coffee, breakfast, and lunch in Cincinnati

ABOUT + DESIGN

Cheapside Cafe opened in 2014 in a small spot located on a quiet street in the design district of downtown Cincinnati. At the time there were very few, if any all-day breakfast locations.

Owner\Founder Joseph Creighton wanted to design something unique for the city. From the all white minimalist space with rich wood accents to the menu every detail was intentional.

Open daily from 7am-3pm Cheapside acquired a loyal following including a shout-out during the bare naked ladies concert for the now famous breakfast sandwich along with a national feature in People Magazine recognizing Cheapside for the “Best sandwich in Ohio.” Often frequented by bloggers, travelers and celebrities, Cheapside became a well-known downtown Cincinnati staple.

We thank you for stopping by and finding out more about us.

"The salmon is silky, salty, oily and plump. The herb cheese spread supplies a pillow for it lie on. Cucumbers are the perfect textural contrast; so are pickled onions, which also add a tart pickly extra spark. It's all on salt rye toast, adding to a certain Scandinavian effect. It's perfectly satisfying for lunch – or for breakfast. Cheapside is open for both.\"
